Our family just got back from "doin' canoein" with you and I can't tell you how much we enjoyed the trip. Although we were novices in canoeing, your guides were very patient and even taught us the proper paddle techniques before we started the trip. Santa Elena Canyon is a most special place and the hike in Fern Canyon is not to be missed!!! It's great that you have been able to turn the low water situation to your advantage by offering this fantastic trip. Keep up the great work and we'll be back soon for another trip with you. I am doing a project for school which is setting up a white water rafting trip for a fictitous company. I have to write a 15 page report and I believe your terrific website gives me all of the information that I need. We had a wonderful time (full overnight Santa Elena trip) and was it ever great! The guides, Vichai and Grady, both great guys, knowledgeable and skilled, taught us so much about the region and the geology and the history and the wildlife. after 13 years of visiting the park and hiking all over, we made our first raft/canoe trip down (up first) the santa elena canyon. can't believe we waited so long - vichai and bryan were great fun and always aware of everyone in the group. sydney had the time of her life and i know we'll do it again when the river is higher hopefully. thanks, robin hill and virginia evans.

We were so pleased to raft Santa Elena Canyon last week. This was our third try and we finally had the water to be able to do it! I hope it keeps raining and the river stays up for you this year. Santa Elena is one beautiful canyon and your guides were wonderful. We had a great time.....Maybe we'll do Boquillas Canyon next. I can't imagine three days of not cooking! I did'nt know that Terlingua had a web page thank God. My daugther's grandparents were born in terlingua and they always want it to know why they were so dark like indians. and I start it to look into they genealogic tree. My daugther didn'nt believe me the she comes from a line of indians or mexicans. Now I believe she is proud. By the way my ex-in-laws names were Felipa Cedillos and Felipe hinostrosa. I enjoyed your web site. Friends and I are planning a rafting trip and your company was recommended. Your pictures were rather blurred on our computer screen (with technology today they really should be more clear). Your site talks about different classes of rapids. What distinguishes the different classes? What threshold of rafting experience do you need for each class. We are all rookies. What a wonderful way to experience a most beautiful area!!! Our family hasn't stopped talking about our four day Boquillas trip...We all learned how to canoe, never felt uneasy eventhough it was our first canoe experiend\ce. You were right, the gentle water and fantastic scenery literally took our breath away. We have all voted that doing a canoe trip is what we want to do on our next vacation too!!! You can be sure we will spread our opinions about our trip to all our friends. We really enjoyed the off river portion too. Hi !! Just wanted to say what a great time we had rafting with you guys. We went the day after Thanksgiving of this year (2005). There were ten of us. (The LaGrange party). We had three rafts. Everyone had a great time. Our guides were great. The lunch was perfect. And, I especially want to thank John (our guide). He was great !!! His knowledge of the area was outstanding.
